Hell was let loose at the studio of a Lagos Radio station 93.1 FM as a live show where the Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina and ace musician Dede Mabiaku clashed on issues of national importance.
A video that has gone viral shows Dede Mabiaku, a renowned artiste, walking out on Lagos Talks FM 93.1 radio presenter and Femi Adesina, one of Buhari’s top media aides, during a live radio programme.
Dede could be heard screaming and expressing reservations at the manner Adesina had asked him to shut up while fielding questions. “Why do you want to hear me when he (Adesina) had the audacity to tell me to shut up?” he asked
The task of keeping the president’s reputation intact and squeaky has become not only challenging but unnerving.
Between Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu, both senior aides to Buhari on Media and Publicity, it’s been edgy and tension-soaked these past weeks.
Only recently, Shehu got bashed by the Nigerian public for making veiled reference to former President Goodluck Jonathan in the course of articulating how best to quench the rumoured death of his principal, Buhari.
