Residents of Borno towns of Zabamari in Jere Local Government Area of the state are fleeing their homes following an invasion by Boko Haram terrorists.
Boko Haram attacked Zabarmari, Jere Local Government, some 30 kilometres to Maiduguri this Friday evening forcing many residents to flee.
Sources said the insurgents came at dusk shortly after the evening Muslim prayers and shot sporadically.
Security sources said troops of the Nigerian Army have been moved to the area to contain the insurgents.
