Coronavirus kills 28 in Nigeria as Lagos gets 74 new cases

Death toll as a result of the dreaded coronavirus has continued to rise as new figure released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) shows that the figure keep climbing on a daily basis.
Recent figure indicates released on April 21, indicates that 25 persons had died as a result of the disease, but on Wednesday April 22, a new figure shows that fresh death of additional three persons have occurred, bringing the number 28 deaths
The NCDC said 91 new cases of COVID19 was reported and out of which Lagos has a whooping 74 new cases, followed by Katsina with five and Ogun four. Delta and Edo have two cases each while Kwara, Oyo, Adamawa and the Federal Capital Territory have one each.


The new figures raised the tally to 873 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with the number of discharged persons reaching 197.
