The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has released new figures of confirmed cases of coronavirus with figure reaching 195 new cases for April 28, 2020.
Lagos and Kano got the highest chunk of the figures with 80 and 38 new cases respectively, while Ogun and Bauchi states got 15 new cases each.
Borno state got 11, Gombe 10 Sokoto nine, Edo five, Jigawa five, and Zamfara two. Rivers, Enugu, Delta, Abuja and Nasarawa got one each.
The 195 figure has raised the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus so far reported to 1532, while discharge persons remain 255 and total number of death recorded has reached 44.
The NCDC said one case previously reported in Gombe State is now recorded as a Borno State case
