Russia 2018: A committed Eagles can beat Argentina says Rangers patron

By George Aluo, Russia

United States of America (USA) based Rangers International of Enugu patron, Benson Ezeomeogo Ejindu has declared that Super Eagles can get the result they need against Argentina to progress into the round of 16 at the Russia 2018 World Cup if the boys come out fighting.

Ejindu in an exclusive chat with this writer from Charlotte, North Carolina said Eagles would carry the day if they play the match of their lives as they did against Iceland.

“They must play like there is no tomorrow…give 100 percent and execute their game plan the way they did against Iceland. If they do that, Argentina will fall,” Ejindu said.

The soccer loving accountant said Eagles must realize that millions of Nigerians home and abroad are looking up to them to do the country proud and heal the wounds of the land.

“You can see the kind of celebration that erupted after their victory over Iceland. They did the country proud and every Nigerian was on the same page. The boys should continue in that stead and get the job done. Beating Argentina is not a mission impossible.”

Ejindu it would be noted backed Samson Siasia’s Dream Team that won bronze for Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Olympics in Brazil.

The Eagles would Tuesday night do battle with Argentina in the Russian city of Saint Petersburg in a Group D clash that would determine who joins Croatia in the second round.
