The night after the wedding

Fireworks lighted up the sky over Windsor throughout Saturday night to cap an extraordinary wedding day for Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle.

The newlyweds danced the night away after arriving in a converted electric Jaguar for their wedding reception at Frogmore House, following a multi-cultural wedding the likes of which Britain’s royals and the millions that watched have never seen before.
Around 200 guests joined the couple at the evening event at the 17th-century Frogmore mansion in the grounds of Windsor Castle, where Meghan, wearing an aquamarine ring which once belonged to Princess Diana made a speech to the guests.

They travelled in a silver blue open-top Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero, which was originally manufactured in 1968 and now runs on electricity on her way to the English country house which stands in the home park of Windsor Castle and is part of the Crown Estate. It is only open to individuals on three days of the year.
Stars, including Serena Williams, Priyanka Chopra and Jessica Mulroney were quick in taking to Instagram to show off glamours frocks they wore to the function at Frogmore House. Also among the Hollywood royalty there was George Clooney, who had to contend with inquisitive police officers for ten minutes while waiting at the gates.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had earlier tied the knot at Windsor Castle in a royal wedding like no other, mixing British pomp and African-American culture in front of a celebrity congregation and cheering crowds.
The new Duke and Duchess of Sussex exchanged vows in St George’s Chapel in a historic ceremony, sealed with a kiss, which brought the US TV star into the heart of the British monarchy.
As more than 100,000 people packed the sun-baked Windsor streets and millions watched worldwide, the Queen and the royal family were joined inside by stars including Serena Williams and George Clooney.
