What Omo-Agege group had in stock

Details have emerged over the plan by the Senator Ovie Omo-Agege led disruption of Senate proceeding on Wednesday, as sources informed newsreportersng.com that the scheme was to have Senator Bukola Saraki removed as Senate President.

Insiders at the National Assembly in Abuja said the removal of the mace, the symbol authority of the senate, was a planned carefully placed in motion to unseat the Senate President.

The plan, according to the sources was to forcefully take away the mace and have the senate adjourn and the group allegedly loyal to Senator Omo Agege will reconvene and impeach the senate president and remove all principal officers of the senate and install their reign.

However, the plan failed, as the Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu who was presiding at the upper legislative house when the hoodlums walked into the chambers, quickly called the house to order and the proceeding continued with another mace.
