64 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria

Few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari addressed the country on strategies to curb the spread of the dreaded coronavirus disease, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has released figures of new cases within the country.

The NCDC said 64 new cases of the disease have been discovered in Lagos, The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Borno, Taraba and Gombe,

In Lagos the centre said 34 new cases were reported, FCT 15, Borno 11, Taraba two and Gombe two.

No death was reported but discharged cases rose to 255 and the total number of new cases in the country stands at 1337.
