Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria’s frontline stadium facility construction outfit, Monimichelle, Ebi Egbe, has described as richly deserved, the honor bestowed on Felix Anyansi Agwu by Abia State but insisted that what the highly successful soccer administrator deserves is a national honor.
Egbe while congratulating Anyansi on the Abia honor said he is praying for what he called “the big one” to come from the federal government.
“Anyansi richly deserves what he got from Abia State. Charity they say begins at home. Now that Abia has honored him, I pray that the federal government also do the needful. Anyansi is one of the nation’s most successful football administrators. His leading Enyimba to win the CAF Champions League back to back is a feat no other person has been able to do,” Egbe noted.
Meanwhile, Football Club Owners Association (Club Owners) in a congratulatory message to Anyansi described the Abia honor as commendable and well deserved.
The Club Owners pointed out that Anyansi has contributed in no small measure to the growth of football not only in Abia but Nigeria at large.
“As a responsible and responsive association, we rejoice with you (Anyansi) on this special honor and assure you that we will continue to recognize your personality in all our toasts as a worthy ambassador, in the true spirit of sportsmanship,” part of the message signed by the duo of Isaac Danladi and Alloy Chukwuemeka stated.
