Nigeria Army has granted post humous promotion to the former commander of the 35 Artillery Brigade Alamala Ogun state, Brigadier General Olusegun Olutunde, who died recently after a brief illness.
The former commander who died as Brigadier General (one star general) was promoted to Major General (two star) in the recent gale of promotion sweeping through the Armed Forces.
General Olutunde before his death, was instrumental to the arrest of suspected gunrunners in Ogun State and was very active during the OPERATION CROCODILE SMILE 2.
He died in August 2019 after a brief illness.
