The former coach of Indomitable Lions of Cameroon who was named technical adviser of the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Monday, Paul Le Guen has refused to sign the contract papers expected to officially commence his tenure.
Key sources at the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) headquarters said the French man surprised many as he said he would not want to be given target on the coaching of the Super Eagles.
Indeed, the source told newsreportersng.com that the French man said he was not comfortable with some clauses in the contract.
“The reason he might be avoiding signing is because he refused to accept some terms, like qualifying Nigeria for the 2018 Russia FIFA World Cup,” the source said.
