Coronavirus: Lagos records new 59 cases

Lagos returned to the table of states being ravaged by the dreaded coronavirus disease with another high number of 59 new cases out of the 117 new cases of the disease also known as COVID-19 reported throughout the country.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja came second on the list with 29, while Kano also recorded 14 new cases.

Katsina and Borno states steadily rise with four and six cases respectively, while Ogun, Rivers and Bauchi followed suit with three, one  and one respectively.

The new cases announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) bring the total reported cases in Nigeria to 782 confirmed cases as at April 21st 2020 while the number of discharged persons came to 197 and the number of death reached 25.
