Lagos state continue to lead the in the table of states with the dreaded corona virus disease as the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announces fresh 108 cases of the disease commonly called COVID-19 in the country.
According to the NCDC, Lagos alone have 78 new cases while the Federal Capital Territory Abuja accounts for 14 new cases.
Ogun state remained constant on the table with five new cases while Gombe, Borno, Akwa Ibom, Kwara and Plateau account for four, three, two, one respectively.
The new cases according to the NCDC brought the total figure of the coronavirus in Nigeria as at 11:30 pm 23rd April 2020, to 981 confirmed cases, discharged persons stood at 197, while death as a result of the Coronavirus disease stood at 31.
