More cases of the dreaded coronavirus disease have continue to rear its head in Nigeria’s commercial capital, Lagos, as the state takes the larger chunk of the 35 new cases recorded on Thursday April 16, 2020.
According the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), 19 new cases were discovered in Lagos while Abuja accounts for nine new cases. Kano and Oyo states have five and two respectively
The new figures released on April 16 have raised the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 442, with 152 person discharged while 13 deaths have been recorded.
Newsreportersng.com also gathered that two persons are in critical conditions.
