DSS busts ISIS plan to attack US, UK missions

A plot by terrorist group, the Islamic State for Iraq and Syria, ISIS, to bomb the missions of the United States , United Kingdom and other Western countries in Nigeria has been foiled by the country’s secret police,  Department of State Services, DSS.
The DSS made the revelation in Abuja through an official of the organization identified as Tony Opuiyo, in a statement.
The DSS in the statement said that the Service has also apprehended the ISIS-linked Boko Haram members based in Benue state and the FCT.
It said: “The group had perfected plans to attack the UK and American Embassies and other western interests in Abuja.”
Opuiyo added that: “during the operation to thwart this plan, five key suspects, namely: Isa Jibril, Jibril Jibril, Abu Omale Jibril, Halidu Sule and Amhodu Salifu, were arrested”.
