How gunmen killed Catholic priest in Imo

It was a sad day for Catholics in Nigeria, as another priest of church has been murdered in cold blood by dare devil criminals.
Identified as Reverend Father Jude Egbom, witnesses said the priest had gone to a nearby saloon to have an hair cut when a gang of assassins rained bullets on him.
It was learnt that Fr Egbom who visited his home town Umuwala that very day, had decided to have a hair cut at Nkwerre not knowing that the heavy hands of death were already at hand.
Witnesses said the clergy who was with a  junior seminarian was shot severally on the chest by unknown gunmen at the barbing saloon to the extent that stray bullet hit one of those running for their lives, and the seminarian heavily wounded.
The incident has thrown the entire Catholic faithful and Christians of the Catholic Diocese of Orlu and beyond into mourning
Fr. Jude Egbom is a priest of the Catholic Diocese of Orlu and presently the Parish priest of St Patrick’s Parish Amucha, also in the Imo State.
