Belgium based Super Eagles forward, Moses Simon has finally been ruled out of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Doctors in London said the player would need at least four to six weeks to be fit to play competitive football.
The player had to undergo a fresh scan in London before being ruled out for the Mundial.
A board member of the nation’s soccer governing body , Aisha Falode in a telephone chat from London said it is confirmed that Moses Simon is out.
Simon copped the thigh injury while training with his teammates in Uyo ahead of the friendly against DR Congo.
It would be noted that Rohr had on Tuesday dropped four players, the home based duo of goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye and Junior Lokosa as well as Uche Agbo and Ola Aina.
The Eagles are billed to take on England’s Three Lions at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
