Police invade home of former APC chieftain in Bayelsa

Troops of the Nigeria Police Force have swoop on the resident of former Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Bayelsa, Chief Tiwei Orunimighe, following his defection from the party.

The former chieftain of the party had recently defected to the People’s Democratic Party.

A Facebook post by Francis Ottah Agbo the Chief Press Secretary to the Bayelsa State Governor, Serieke Dickson said : “They have laid siege to his house in Yenagoa. Any moment from now, they will arrest him, blindfold him and whisk him away! Also, the Chairman of Brass LGA, is at the verge of being arrested too for his zero tolerance on crime and criminality in the council!”
