UNICEF WASH Baseline Survey: NBS officials hold meeting with Owan West Council boss

The Officials of National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), last week held a meeting with the Executive Chairman of Owan West Local Government Council, Hon. Frank Ilaboya. The delegation was led by Mr. Aiyedun Solomon, who briefed the Council Boss on the baseline survey of water facilities in the Local Government conducted from 16th -24th of May, 2018.

The initiative was aimed at getting statistics of Water Points available in the Local Government and to also ascertain their working state.

It will be recalled that, UNICEF, a United Nations programme had organised Water And Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) baseline survey training in the Local Government.

Mr. Aiyedun, the leader of the team thanked the Council Boss for his cooperation and his role leading to the success of the baseline survey in the Local Government.

Hon. Ilaboya commended the team and assured them of Council’s continued cooperation.
